Long-term Environmental Monitoring Program of Occoquan and Potomac Rivers, Virginia 

The Belmont Bay Science Center (BBSC) long-term water quality monitoring program is a collaborative project with George Mason University, US Fish & Wildlife Service, and Prince William County School system. The goal of the BBSC environmental monitoring program is to promote environmental education and health in northern Virginia.

Objectives

Students remove identified fishes from seine to place in jar to measure length and weight of each specimen back at laboratory.
